Music and dance are two interrelated concepts that are harmonized with humans at a very young age. All along the courses, the children, who all have an innate physical expression, are taught the fundamentals of Music and Dance, that is movement, rhythm and melody, and they are encouraged to develop skills related with these aspects. Courses are presented in a context of musical play, based, among others, on the music education approach of E. J. Dalcroze and C. Orff.
The elements that form a course are mainly singing, use of percussion instruments, movement and flow techniques, body-percussion, and, above all, the self-expression that targets to develop the child as a physical, mental and spiritual entity.

Classical dance forms the basis of any meaningful dance education. As the most structured genre of dance, it relies on the development and cultivation of elements such as harmony, musicality, discipline, power, complete control of movements, proper posture and body alignment. The course combines techniques from the two basic classical ballet systems, English (RAD) and Russian (Vaganova).

The approach of the dance through a deeper knowledge of the body and its particularities, through the expansion and development of perception and personality, the sense of space and time, the use of different dynamics and qualities, the shifting of weight through breathing, expressiveness and imagination. Based on Release, Limon and Graham techniques, but also on influences from every modern kinetic expression, the physical daily movement, the energy management and the free flow are organized in a kind of movement and dance that has revolutionized all rigorously structured systems and released the body and the creativity of the dancers all around the world. The course also evolves through the Contact Improvisation technique, which brings the body in contact with space and other bodies. Contact is built through trust, the exploration of body boundaries, the coordination and the different uses of our weight, in search of a dialogue and endless forms of kinetic coexistence.

As an integral part of every form of art and creation, improvisation opens the field for the exploration and cultivation of all expressive means with prime material the individuality and diversity of each person. The course evolves through play, group and individual exercise, free and guided creative action, with special emphasis on the use of “randomness”, the awakening, and the senses activation, as well as on the process of choice and transformation during the structuring of stage presence.

The course attempts to open communication channels with the collective soul, the history and especially with the present of various peoples of the world, as they are expressed through the dance from the “inside” of individuals and the “together” of community. With the tools of history, choreography and costume aesthetics, we become familiar with the intangible cultural heritage, passing from traditional to contemporary and from classic to modern.

It is a dance form with roots in the African-American jazz music and the tap dance. The course incorporates elements of modern dance techniques to strengthen the body’s core, study rhythm and precision, as well as movement isolation. In addition, the course aims to the complete harmony of movement with music, as well as to the dance with theatricality, emphasizing on expressiveness and the personal style. It includes exercises and choreographies that combine elements of modern dance and musicals.

Getting acquainted with acrobatic movement is done by learning the basic techniques of balance, handstands, swing and flight. With a special training for strengthening, stretching and movement combinations, we allow the exploration of body boundaries and get in touch with the qualities and dynamics of acrobatics. The form of movement, both on and above the ground, will emerge as a function of intention rather than as a demonstration of technique, thus giving the opportunity to the body to discover and interact with the ground and instruments (aerial rope, trapeze, aerial hoop). By creating conditions of safety, trust and cooperation, it is possible to overturn and move the center of gravity of the body, enhancing the sense of perception in unprecedented and transcendent positions. The main objective of the course is to overcome the fear that can be caused by the overturning of gravity and to create a common space where everything can happen.

It is an art born in the streets of New York in the late 70s, by African-American teenagers, and was in parallel developed in music, dance and graffiti. Improvisation and personal style are the key components in all of the Hip Hop dance styles we come across in this course, such as Popping, Locking and House.

Yoga means union. It is a never-ending path that through physical and mental exercise manages to get us to the present. The Yoga teaching method incorporates Vinyasa flow and alignments, combined with attentive Asana sequencing, so that students acquire the fundamental knowledge they need to listen for their body with dexterity, integrity and safety, while at the same time honoring their uniqueness. A key element of this method is Asana’s conscious and its dynamic practice. Yoga Works’ distinctive vision draws inspiration from three different Yoga systems: Ashtanga, Iyengar and Vini.

Pilates is a holistic workout method, based on the harmonious coexistence of mind and body. It is created through a system of stretching and strengthening exercises that aims to the correct posture and alignment, the functional muscular activity and the proprioception. The key principles, it focuses on, are breathing, balance, self-concentration, center of gravity control, accuracy and flow. At Pilates MAT, all aspects of fitness are developed and improved while simultaneously activating body weight and acting as a coordinating axis, removing body pain and tensions. This course is addressed to everyone, regardless of age, weight, body type, fitness or pathological problems.

A program of exercise that through an emphasis on breathing and conscious movement manages to increase muscle stamina and strength, to improve muscle flexibility and flexibility of joints, to relax muscle tension, and furthermore it achieves a more functional and ergonomic movement. As a result, the body gets rid of useless stresses and any pain they cause, gets better posture and responds more effectively to the daily life demands. In the Props course, the goals of somatic fitness are achieved by using foam rollers or fitness balls. The instability they offer is a constant challenge for the body, which is called upon to activate and control many muscles at the same time. It thus develops mobility, balance, strength and neuromuscular joints. Exercises on the foam roller also provide muscle relaxation. At the advanced level, the elastic band (Thera band), whose resistance increases the intensity of the strengthening exercises and promotes further flexibility in stretching exercises, is also used.
